Lake Erie fishing charters

Most anglers come to Lake Erie for the amazing walleye fishing. It's not uncommon to
score a big catch. Lake Erie is also famous for hefty walleyes in the 10-14 pound range.
Everyone has a shot at a trophy fish on my Lake Erie fishing charters.
Lake Erie is one of the best smallmouth bass lakes in the world. Come and experience
the thrill of hooking a big smallie and watch it rocket out of the water in an attempt to spit
your hook. Lake Erie sportfishing charters are a great way to get started.
For anglers who don't have the right gear that a Lake Erie charter demands, don't worry.
Use mine at no extra cost. I have first-rate graphite rods and tough Daiwa, Shimano and
Penn reels, all spooled with Berkley Fireline. You'll fish from Mega Bites, a clean, roomy
30-ft Baha sportfish, made for Lake Erie fishing charters. I also offer trolling trips for
walleyes, using Daiwa rods and reels, spooled with PowerPro line.

Every April, I start my fishing charters in the Port Clinton area, in the heart of the famed
Lake Erie Islands. This puts me close to all the islands and reefs where the walleyes
congregate by the millions after a long winter. In early June, huge schools of walleyes
move east into the Central Basin. I move, too, and stay on top of the great Lake Erie
fishing action at Vermilion, OH.

My fishing season starts in Port Clinton, ends in Vermilion

Lake Erie perch charters
Did I mention that Lake Erie is full of yellow
perch? Don't confuse this perch with the fishy
ocean perch you commonly find in the
supermarkets. There is a world of difference in
taste. Eating-wise, yellow perch are world class
table fare no matter how you prepare them.
Also, perch are easy to catch making this
species a fun way to get kids involved in
fishing. Anglers are each permitted to take
home 30 perch per day. Spring and fall are the
best times to fish for them. Give it a try, you'll be
glad you did.
Whether you choose to drift and cast for your fish or prefer to sit back and troll, there’s
always a bite on for walleye, smallmouth bass and yellow perch.  Our season in Ohio
runs from April to November so there's plenty of opportunity to hit the water with me,
Capt. Tony Denslow, a full-time sport fishing guide.
